Icy Dragon Sword Farming
I've been doing runs outside Ice Caves of Sorrow, right next to droknar's forge. I've done about 20 full runs, killing all the Icy Imps and Siege Golemns outside, and i have yet to see a Icy Dragon Sword Drop. I was wondering if i am farming at a place where the creeps dont drop icy dragon swords, or if the drop rate has decreased dramatically.

The only real benefit they provide is if you are using them in conjunction with a Spinal Shivers necro.
An Icy sword hilt works just as well, and they run between 300-800g most days. |

ops answer to your original question. They only drop in Mineral Springs. This is north out of Granite Citadel. And the only place they drop in Mineral Springs is by the ice imps in a cave in the NE corner of Mineral Springs. The drop percentage is something like 10% and they have not been nerfed. Anet said they will keep them around through 2006 since they were such a hit during wintersday. I agree with ShazBo, with the diffuculty and time spent in getting to the cave combined with the low percentage they drop I would just go buy one for 20K.

You can salvage the hilt but you can't change it.
